St Anne’s started as a Leeds homeless charity in 1971 and has grown to become a £42m charity supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs across the North of England. Their 1,300 staff members are committed to supporting over 1,600 clients individuals with learning disabilities, mental health, substance misuse and homelessness issues.
Led by Azra Kirkby, their new Chief Executive, the Senior Management Team is working with the Board of Trustees to develop an ambitious new business strategy for 2021 to 2025 to ensure they continue to provide great support to vulnerable people within our communities.
We are seeking a number of trustee roles to broaden their Board experience. In particular, they are seeking to appoint a new Chair and Vice-Chair, and wish to increase the accounting and auditing experience on their Audit Committee and appoint an accountant to chair that Committee. We are also keen to hear from people with housing or social care experience.
Their community in Leeds and the north of England is rich in diversity and we are keen to recruit people from diverse backgrounds who can broaden the Board’s knowledge and experience. You need not have experience as a Trustee previously; diversity of thought is more important.
