Touchstone, a multi award winning mental health charity supporting vulnerable people and reducing health inequalities and Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service, a multi award winning, radical mental health charity supporting people in acute mental health crisis are working together to deliver this exciting new service.
The Crisis Café provides a safe, non-clinical space for individuals that are in crisis and experiencing high levels of distress. You will support individuals both 1-2-1 and in groups during times of crisis developing support plans and making referrals to other services.
You will be highly motivated, proactive, resourceful and have a positive attitude with a flexible approach and excellent interpersonal and team working skills. In all posts you will receive outstanding supervision and support.
The post will require you to lone work with service users of all ages (over 16) and regular evening and weekend usually between 5pm and 1am.
You will have experience of working with people with mental health problems and be highly skilled and resourceful. Further details for the posts can be found on our website: www.touchstonesupport.org.uk.
