Leeds LGBT+ Minds are excited to announce our Community Wellbeing Festival, co-hosted by Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service and Trans Leeds. The festival will take place both virtually and in-person (Covid restrictions permitting) between 29th November and 4th December 2021.
Join us to share your experiences of using or needing mental health services and to talk about what mental wellbeing means to you. We want to hear your honest thoughts and experiences – good and bad! Together, we want to make Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service the best it can be for LGBTQIA+ people.
We will also be hosting some fun and creative wellbeing-themed sessions, led by local LGBTQIA+ makers, creatives and wellbeing practitioners, to say thanks to attendees for sharing their time and their stories. In addition, all attendees will receive a £5 voucher to spend at a local LGBTQIA+ business. Or, if you’d prefer, we will donate the £5 on your behalf to a local LGBTQIA+ charity.
If you or someone you know is interested in attending, pop the dates in your diaries and follow us on social media or e-mail LMWScoproduction@touchstonesupport.org.uk to be kept up to date. Tickets go live on 25th October and will be limited. Earlybird tickets come with a goodie bag of gifts from local LGBTQIA+ businesses and makers, so set your reminders now!
Leeds LGBT+ Minds is a group of people who use, have used and work for mental health services. We are working to make Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service better for the LGBTQIA+ Community.
The Community Wellbeing Festival is open to anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+, lives or works in Leeds and has experience of using or needing mental health services.
