Although these are “bank staff” roles, all staff who join the team can potentially work regular hours within the following services:

Self Directed Support Service

The Self Directed Support service has been operating since 2010 , since this time we have seen demand for the support increase massively . We have an excellent reputation delivering 1-1 support to people with mental health issues across the communities of Leeds.

As a team member you will work flexibly to focus on recovery , integration and maximise independence . This role will enable you to work together with individuals to use time creatively and flexibly across the week. You will focus on outlined objectives doing so with a primary focus on delivering person centred care, while engaging in a wide range of interesting and fulfilling activities to meet their needs .

Leeds Wellbean Café

The aim of the Well-bean Cafe is to divert people, who would be better supported elsewhere, away from Accident and Emergency (A&E) and other crisis services.

The Well-bean cafe is open 7 evenings a week between the hours of 6pm – 12am and provides a non-clinical setting to support up to 12 individuals at a time to access support.

Wakefield Safe Space

Touchstone has been awarded NHS funding to run a Wakefield Safe Space in the early evening and at night.

The aim of the Wakefield Safe Space is to divert people, who would be better supported elsewhere, away from Accident and Emergency (A&E) and other crisis services in Wakefield District.  The project will be delivered in partnership with Spectrum People and GASPED.

The Wakefield Safe Space open on Monday – Sunday evenings, between the hours of 6pm – 12am and provides a non-clinical setting to support up to 12 individuals at a time to access support.

Rotherham Safe Space 

Touchstone has been awarded funding from NHS Rotherham CCG to run the upcoming Rotherham Safe Space in the early evening and at night. The service is likely to operate between the hours of 6pm-1am, 3 evenings a week with exact hours to be coproduced at a later date.

The aim of the Rotherham Safe Space is to divert people who would be better supported elsewhere, away from Accident and Emergency (A&E) and other crisis services within Rotherham.

The space will provide a non-clinical setting to support 12 individuals at a time to access support in a crisis, as an alternative to A&E. The post holder will support people in acute distress, including 1-2-1 support, support planning and liaising with local services.
