We at Touchstone are shocked and deeply saddened by the horrific attack in Manchester yesterday, targeting the Jewish community. Any attack on any place of worship regardless of faith and belief is unacceptable and is an attack on us all.

We stand in solidarity with the Jewish community as we do with all faith communities who are subject to hate and persecution. We denounce all forms of hate, violence and persecution of all faiths and religious groups. Acts of hate not only target individuals, but impact all communities, leaving many feeling unsafe and fearful.

If you have been affected by the events in Manchester, please know that support is available. Our team is here to provide mental health support, including our Here For You service which is available every day (including weekends). Please visit www.touchstonesupport.org.uk/hereforyou for more information.

We also encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses hate crime to please reach out to the Police or Stop Hate UK on 0113 293 5100.

Together, we must stand united against all forms of hate and strive for safer, more compassionate communities for all.
