(Written by Matthew Hall – Crisis Support Worker at WBC)
The Well-Bean Café (WBC) will soon be open across Leeds 7 days a week, providing support to those in mental health crisis. Currently we are open 5 nights a week across sites in Lincoln Green and Beeston, and will soon be opening in West Leeds in the Armley area on Thursday and Friday.
As the service has expanded from being open 3 days originally, soon to be open 7 days – we have had to recruit more staff to be able to meet this need. In that regard we now welcome a number of new staff to the service. Ishrat will now be the new Team Leader at Lincoln Green, and as previous visitors will already know – we recently welcomed new Crisis Support Workers Rob and Chantelle to that service also. We also welcome Adriana into the role of new team leader at Beeston, as well as new Crisis Support worker Susan in the same service. Finally to acknowledge, Wendy is going to be the new team leader at the West Leeds Café. WELCOME TO ALL THE NEW STAFF :).
